I love cats and dogs – they each have different personalities and habits and I love to play with them and watch them and all their fun antics.
A few years ago I started creating a yearly Catty Year and A Dog Of A Year calendars. I am working on the 2026 calendars and they will be available in the fall. Each month of both calendars has a fun illustration on it of a cat or dog related word or phrase – like“I’m feline fine!”, “Meow or Never” or “Dog Woods” and “Hot Dog”. You will have to watch for my posting on the goodbuddynotes.com site once the calendars are available so that you can get yours. The A Catty Year and A Dog Of A Year Calendars are great gifts for fellow cat and dog lovers – plus for pet sitters or a favorite veterinarian.
I once worked for a Design Studio in St. Louis that produced packaging for Ralston Purina Cat Foods. Cat owners brought their pets in to the studio and a photographer took hundreds of pictures to use on the packaging. Then one designer asked if I might try and create an illustration for the Meow Mix package – and my illustration was used on the bag! I created illustrated cat alphabet letters for the packaging. Since then I’ve illustrated more alphabets – Dogs, Boys, Girls, Sports, Babies, Ballet, Zoo Animals, Holiday, Hannukuh and Garden alphabets. I have created many greeting cards and other products that use the different alphabets.
